What's the next stage for humanity today in the 21st century? A quantum leap to one's being: Soul or Consciousness or Higher Self.
Many people are now questioning, "What is the purpose of their lives?" And many people are seeing the difference between spirituality and religion.
In a new earth, being is the focus not merely believing. First, what is not being? Not being is merely believing. Believing is through the mind (left brain) alone. Simply believing a saying or something is close-mindedness as one's mind is absorbed with itself. The mind (left brain) thinks and judge a saying or something either as right or wrong, true or not true. Believing via the mind (left brain) shows the realm of opposites. It creates a facade of separateness in all things: up/down, left/right, male/female, etc. Thus, for example in this old way of thinking, I would think that you and I are separate; and I would probably think of you as either a friend or an enemy.
Creating a New Earth
The higher level of consciousness is being. Being is the dimension of humanity that is in all of us. In the old earth, one is only aware of one's human part. In a new earth, one is aware of the human part and the being part. Thus, in a new earth, there is an integration of human being.
We fulfill our destiny by becoming aware that each of us are human beings. Humanity will be aware of its wholeness and oneness again. How does one be than believe? To be is awareness or consciousness itself. Being is an awareness of one's spiritual part or divine connection to the Source of all or God. Others would say that it is similar to "walking the talk of faith." But it is not simply walking the talk but you be the living Word or the Way, the Truth, the Life. It is experiencing life itself each moment, thus one does not concern or worry about the past or the future. It is feeling not thinking. In being (conscious), one is aware of the body, mind and spirit. One is there like an observer of him/herself when one experiences the external reality (through the basic senses), one is aware of its mind thinking and/or the emotions flowing. One is also aware of the ego, which likes to identify itself with any thing: name it, a car, a role/status, physical stature, a house, a belief system, etc. It is a simultaneous reality of actuality. One experiences all aspects of things and is there (just being).
Being is also going within to find that what is within is also without. It is what Jesus Christ talks about "the Kingdom of God is within." How do we find this heaven (a state of higher Consciousness) within us? By focusing in our innerselves. Observing our breathing is one thing that we can do to be aware and conscious of the beingness within us.
In a new earth, Consciousness is the power that reigns over humanity. And what happens to ego? It dissolves and personality is now useful for being.

"not believing is merely believing" In what way?? I am an apatheistic, so how would you assess that??
The purpose of my life? To live the best life I can, to take care of myself, to give to others (charities which I believe deserve mhy $).
I am definitely spiritual, not religious, not in the traditional sense. Simply believing a saying or something, is close- mindedness as one's mind is absolutely with oneself. The mind thinks and judges a saying or something, either as right or wrong, true or not true. I don't agree with you. If someone were to say that the U.S. is a complete democracy, I'd have to say that no, it is not. If someone said that there are equal rights in the United States, there definitely are not. These are harsh realities, not a matter of believing something is said or that something is true. These statements are...a fact of life and to deny them is to be closed-minded.
President Bush runs his country according to his chrisitian beliefs, therefore, there is still inequality, still discrimination based on gender, sexuality and race.
The mind thinks and judges a saying or something, either as right or wrong, true or not true. So, then, do you consider that whatever is said, it's true or not true, depending on who believes it to be true or not??
Believing in the left brain, starts(?) the realm of opposites. It creates a facade of separateness in all things up/down, left/right, female/male, etc. I find this assessment, rather confusing. Left brain, right brain....and the difference is?? A person cannot change the brain construction. How do you differentiate between a left-thinking brain and a right-thinking brain?? Does a conservative and socially conservative thinker, think with their right brain (or their left??) If you are in discourse with people, do you tag them as left/right thinkers based on their personal and/or social beliefs??
Please explain a higher level of consciousness. In reading this, I'm remind od Jon Kabat-Zinn's book, Mindfulness Meditation, of "being" in the moment, re: of what one is doing. He is basically saying to think about everyone you do, mindfully.
I am a person...a human being in the process of living and being human.
I understand awareness of ourselves, others, the world around us and what consciousness means (versus subconscious thought). I'm aware of my ego (very low most of the time)
